12/01/07 Suncor Energy USA joins PICS
Suncor Energy USA operates a 90,000 barrel per day oil refinery in Commerce City, Colorado. Suncor Energy has expanded both production and refining capacity recently, and markets its refined product through Sunoco and the Phillips 66 branded stations.
12/01/07 BP Toledo joins PICS
BP Toledo refinery joins many other BP refineries and business groups who use PICS to supply an integrated, standardized solution to prequalify BP contractors. The Toledo facility can process 160,000 barrels per day, and BP's strong presence in Ohio has made BP the number one fuel retailer in the state.
11/01/07 Huntsman International partners with PICS
Huntsman Chemical partners with PICS to prequalify contractors at all 14 production facilities throughout the US. Huntsman has over 13,000 employees worldwide and has grown to revenues of over $13 billion in just 35 years; thousands of contractors perform various services on site each year.
11/01/07 ConocoPhillips Billings joins PICS
The Billings Refinery joins other COP business units in using PICS to help them increase safety, efficiency and compliance. ConocoPhillips Billings represents the 4th ConocoPhillips refinery that has joined PICS, and has a refining capacity of 60,000 bpd.
10/17/07 2007 National Safety Congress & Expo
PICS joins NSC for their 95th Congress & Exp and 15,000 safety, health and environmental professionals. The meeting was held in Chicago, IL this year and the three-day expo included industry reps from Manufacturing, Petrochemical, Mining, Pharmaceuticals, Construction, Paper & Pulp.
9/01/07 BP Whiting joins PICS
The BP Whiting Refinery joins many other BP business units in the US in using PICS to help prequalify contractors. The Whiting Refinery is the fourth-largest of all US refineries and is the second-largest among BP refineries worldwide. The facility lies on 1,400 acres and employs about 1,200 people. The refinery has the capability to process more than 400,000 barrels of crude oil daily.

6/26/07 PICS speaks at ASSE SAFETY 2007.
PICS president John Moreland speaks at the ASSE 2007 national conference in Orlando, Florida. The topic is "Developing a Quality Prequalification Process." ASSE is the oldest and largest professional safety organization, with over 30,000 members in occupational health, safety and environmental issues.
6/15/07 Big West Oil joins PICS
Big West Oil, a subsidiary of Flying J Inc, operates a 31,000 barrel per day refinery located in North Salt Lake, Utah. The refinery processes crude oils produced in Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and Canada.

Motorola is a leader in the Manufacturing industry in communications and electronics, with 80 years of experience that spans many countries. A joint venture between Chevron, Shell and Edison, March Point operates a cogeneration facility in Anacortes, Washington.
3/21/07 Big West of California joins PICS
Big West of California, a subsidiary of Flying J Inc, operates a 66,000 BPD refinery in Bakersfield, California.
3/01/07 Tesoro Pipelines & Terminals joins PICS
The pipelines group joins other Tesoro business units in using PICS to prequalify contractors. Tesoro operates 14 terminals and over 900 miles of crude and product pipelines transporting more than 380,000 barrels per day across their system.
12/14/06 Safety Audit Symposium
PICS held its first annual Safety Audit Symposium in Irvine, CA. Safety professionals learned about regulatory updates, auditing manuals and records, as well as field audits, in a full-day seminar. PICS is the leading provider of contractor safety audits in the USA for the Oil & Gas Industry.
11/14/06 2006 API Contractor Safety Conference
PICS sponsored the American Petroleum Institute’s Contractor Safety conference held this year in Houston, Texas. 2006 represents the second year that API has held this conference, and the second year that PICS has sponsored the event. API has over 400 corporate members, all with significant influence in the Oil & Gas industry; for more than 75 years, API has led the development of petroleum and petrochemical equipment and operating standards.

9/15/06 Tesoro Kapolei Joins PICS
Tesoro Corporation’s Kaploei Refinery in Hawaii implements PICS for contractor prequalifications. Tesoro Corporation has six refineries and has a refining capacity close to 600,000 barrels per day.
9/01/06 BP Cherry Point Joins PICS
British Petroleum’s Cherry Point Refinery in Blaine, WA joins other BP business units including BP Carson and BP Pipelines in using PICS. The refinery was built in 1971, and is the biggest refinery in Washington, producing over 225,000 barrels a day.
9/01/06 CRI/Criterion Catalyst Joins PICS
CRI/Criterion's eight facilities in the United States join PICS. CRI/Criterion is the world’s largest supplier of hydroprocessing catalysts, which includes catalysts for hydrotreating, hydrocracking, hydrogenation, isomerization and naphtha reforming.
8/15/06 ConocoPhillips Rodeo Joins PICS
ConocoPhillips’ Rodeo business unit joins many other ConocoPhillips business units who utilize PICS’ service to reduce safety risk and cost. Contractors are pleased, as the majority is already members of PICS.
7/01/06 Tesoro Anacortes Joins PICS
Tesoro Anacortes Refinery in Washington State joins PICS and implements PICS as the contractor prequalification process at their plant. Other Tesoro Refineries were already members of PICS.
6/12/06 ASSE Conference
PICS attends ASSE conference, discussing contractor prequalification with many Fortune 500 companies’ representatives. Founded in 1911, ASSE is the oldest and largest professional organization.
6/1/06 Shell Oil partnership
Shell Oil Products signs a strategic partnership with PICS to prequalify contractors who work at 26 Downstream Business Units in USA. Shell Oil Products is one of the leading petrochemical and energy companies in America, producing 1,640 barrels-per-day of refined product and 41 million lbs/day of chemicals.
5/18/06 BP Pipelines
BP Pipelines becomes PICS newest consortium member. BP Pipelines (North America) is the second largest liquids pipeline company in the U.S. transporting over 450 million barrel-miles of oil, refined products, natural gas liquids, carbon dioxide, and chemicals daily -- about 9 percent of the U.S. Liquids pipeline market.
