Web 2.0 Java Developer

PICS is looking for a smart and energetic Java developer who can show a history of getting things done. You’ll be building a large web-based application that is used by some of the largest companies in the world to manage and prequalify their contractors. The application is built upon some of the latest Java frameworks and Web 2.0 technologies.

Required skills are:
• 2+ years of Java experience
• 2+ years of web development
• 1+ years of JavaScript experience
• 3+ years of programming with databases
• Expertise in HTML and CSS
• Solid understanding of Internet networking and scalability concerns with modern websites
• Excellent understanding of OOP and design patterns
• Ability to work well with other developers
• Excellent communication skills
• BS in Computer Science or related degree
• US citizenship or work visa

Successful candidates will need to master:
• JPA/Hibernate (MySQL)
• jQuery and JavaScript
• Struts 2
• Eclipse

Position: Salaried and Full-time (40 hours/week)
